Waikite Valley Thermal Pools

Waikite Valley Thermal Pools is 30 minutes South of Rotorua, a charming and unique hot pool complex where you can experience the ‘living waters’ of Te Manaroa Spring. The pools are set in a beautiful natural rural environment in Waikite Valley and overlook the geothermal stream.

There are six bathing options, as well as private spas. Options include the family friendly Settlers Pool, the beautifully landscaped Garden Pool, the covered Pergola Pool and the relaxed Sit and Soak Pool.

The 100% pure geothermal water comes straight from the source, Te Manaroa Spring. There’s a short walking eco-trail up to the spring, where you can see the water bubbling to the earth’s surface, and the unique plant life growing in this geothermal environment.

We also have a 26 site campground with both powered and unpowered campsites. There are showers, kitchen and laundry facilities and camper have full access to the hot pool complex. There is also a fully licenced café on site.
